I know I haven’t blogged on my new adventure at all but I definietly have to say that I second what Rach wrote!!

Its crazy to feel as comfortable as i do here. but i am very thankful. my mom drove down with us and i am so thankful for everything she did. she is truly the best mom ever!! :) I am thankful to my dad, sister and brother for how they have supported as well. With all the emotions that came with leaving beautiful chicago and all its people i am thankful for the ease that i have with being in vegas. its been nice to have jessica here to help get things started and just be around. we have been to walmart like 2 times a day since we have been here. never knew walmart was so great :)

its weird having mountains surround us. its very beautiful. i thought it would kill me to not have green everywhere but there are beautiful things here. dont get me wrong i love the midwest beauty and miss it very much but i dont want to dwell on that, i want to find all the beauty in this new place. jessica and i discovered a lot today…..we went to pick up a mattress that jessica found on craigslist. she thought it was close and it ended up being on the total opposite side of the city. its all good though, we discovered a lot and got to meet a guy that looked like beavis from beavis and butthead on a bike. quite the experience. we’ve had lots of belly aching laughs which has been nice. so all that to say, its been great and i’m very thankful for the people here in vegas, my family and all my great friends back home. love from Vegas!!!
